Al Yamamah University launches the Master of Management Information Systems Program in collaboration with Washington State University

Al Yamamah University is launching a new MOE approved integrated master’s degree program in business management and IT.  The Master of Management Information Systems (MMIS) has been designed for individuals who come either from a business or an IT background, and are looking for an applied managerially- oriented master’s degree for their professional career advancement. The new MMIS degree even has a foundation program for candidates who want to break into management and IT, but do not have a background in business or information technology.

This 42 credit hour (four semester) master’s degree program also provides an option for MMIS students to earn a PostGraduate Diploma (PGD) in Business Analytics or a PGD in Project Management from The Washington State University as an integral part of the degree curriculum where faculty fly from the USA to teach courses at YU campus in Riyadh. 

The primary goal of this program is to assist in preparing working professionals to develop and masterthe skills necessary to advance into managerial positions through enhanced knowledge of strategic management, information security, systems analysis & design, management of data and information systems, as well as other topics in business and data science.
