Program Overview

YU EMBA program in International Management and Leadership is offered in partnership with INSEEC University (France), Washington State University (USA) where students graduate with an EMBA degree from Al Yamamah University, co-delivered by INSEEC faculty, as well as the option to earn a postgraduate diploma from Washington State University. The program was created for early and mid- career professionals who would like to build upon their undergraduate education and early work experiences by enhancing their knowledge of modern management theory and developing the skills needed to address the range of issues facing leaders and managers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and throughout the Middle East.

The YU EMBA is offered over a period of twenty (20) months, in a format suitable for busy executives. The curriculum consists of 42 ‐credit hours: 30 credits accrue from the core courses and 8 credits from the free electives courses, and 4+ credits will be earned through the Individual Project –Business Plan. Students who complete one course each month can anticipate finishing their EMBA in twenty months.

Classes are typically held on YU’s campus in Riyadh during evenings or weekends to enable working professionals to pursue their educational goals while remaining on the job. Students meet for classes once per month in an intensive mode of either:  six (6) hours per day for five (5) consecutive days = 30 hours OR five (5) hours per day on Thursdays and Fridays.
